This renewable award is valued at full in-state tuition and is designed for 学生 in the elementary education, 数学教育, and science education majors. This scholarship is designed especially for 学生 who have a desire to teach middle school math or science.

背景信息
Dr. Boener was professor of 科学教育 at bc菠菜导航 from 1964-2000. She served as the chair of the Department of 科学教育 from 1995 until her retirement in 2000. She received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Master of Science from the University of Arizona and Doctor of 哲学 from the State University of Iowa. Prior to arriving at ISU in 1964, she held various teaching positions at the University of Arizona and the State University of Iowa. 除了 to teaching chemistry and general science, she worked in public television in the Minneapolis area. From 1950-1952 she was an assistant to the “Minneapolis Science Consultant,” and helped write and produce the “Teaching Science” program.

The scholarship is a one-time award for the amount of $500 and will be awarded once each year in the spring semester.

- Must not be a graduating senior.

Sycamore 本科 Research Fellowship (冲浪)
The Sycamore 本科 Research Fellowship (冲浪) enables 学生 to work alongside faculty doing hands-on research.
